At Skin Care Outreach, founded by Dr. Rebecca Small, we believe in the transformative power of aesthetic medicine for survivors of violence and trauma. This belief led to the creation of our 501(c)(3) registered charity, with the mission to provide comprehensive care that goes beyond physical wounds. We are dedicated to the emotional recovery and restoration of dignity and self-worth for those we serve.
Empowering Survivors of Human Trafficking
One of the cornerstones of our work is aiding survivors of human trafficking. Many of these individuals bear tattoos that were forcibly applied by their traffickers, serving as constant reminders of their trauma. These marks, often in visible areas, can hinder their ability to move forward and reintegrate into society. At Skin Care Outreach, we offer tattoo removal for human trafficking survivors, helping them erase these painful memories. By removing these unwanted tattoos, we provide a fresh start, enabling survivors to reclaim their identity and rebuild their lives without the stigma of their past.
Supporting Survivors of Domestic Violence
Domestic violence survivors often face significant challenges when attempting to reenter the workforce or rebuild their lives. Our services extend to these brave individuals, offering scar reduction treatments and aesthetic procedures to help minimize the physical remnants of their ordeals. By improving their appearance, we hope to restore their confidence and empower them to face the future with renewed strength and hope.
Assisting Victims of Violent Crimes
